T3 Megamenu tyhjä Jomsocial puolella

Onko kukaan muu törmännyt tällaiseen ongelmaan?

Mulla on kaksi kielinen T3 sivusto jossa on tämä megamenu, kielet fi ja en toimii hyvin, liput liehuu sivuston ylälaidassa ja kielen vaihto toimii ok itse sivuston puolella, mutta kun olen Jomsocialin puolella on megamenu tyhjä suomenkielen puolella siis tarkoitan menu itemsit vain englannin kieliset näkyy.

Olen tehnyt kaikki käännöstyöt, moduulit, sivupohjaan profiilit, valikoinut profiileihin menu itemsit ym. mutta ei vaan toimi megamenu on tyhjä suomenkielen puolella.

Tarkennuksena että molemmat kielet toimii Jomsocialin etusivulla, mutta suomi ei toimi muilla linkeillä esim kaverit, tapahtumat jne...

Tämä löytyi Joomlartin foorumilta, kyseessä on sama ongelma kuin minulla oli Jomsocial kanssa joten laitan sen nyt tähän luettavaksi.

I fear that this is the same problem that happens with some other components, It would seem that while megamenu can handle modules in multi-language it can't with components such as JoomShopping and maybe now Kunena. I take it that kunena itself has no problems being in the two languages?


I created a hack by copying the missing menu items in Italian menu and putting them into English menu and set them to language (Italian). I also made them external urls linked back to the proper Italian menu as this was the quickest way to do it and meant that if someone clicked on one of the 'hacks' in brought it back into the proper language megamenu.

I have no idea if that was the best way but as a complete novice at the time it seemed easiest. I haven't changed it to date as I haven't found a better way (and it's only 8 weeks ago! ) Not the most elegant I know but it works and the user is none the wiser.

So that worked for me and now i got fully translated megamenu. This issue was with jomsocial (Component) and i think you need to do this with all/some components as well.
